Meet the Lima Kitchens Team
Lima Kitchens has been designing and installing bespoke kitchens from Milton Keynes since 2006, and is still run by the people who founded it.
Every kitchen is planned by a qualified designer, drawn up by our own technical team, and fitted by trades we have worked with for years. One studio, one plan, and one person to ask from start to finish.
Directors
Elizabeth | Design & Marketing Director
Elizabeth co-founded Lima Kitchens in 2006 and leads on design, content and where the business is heading.
She is our principal designer, registered with the BIID, and still carries her own design caseload alongside the director role.
She believes a kitchen should be planned around how you actually live rather than how it will photograph, and that storage, ergonomics and the way you move through a room matter more than the door style.
That position runs through everything Lima designs, whoever draws it.
She judges the KBSA Awards, sits on industry panels and co-hosts The Home Improvement Podcast, mostly arguing for better standards across the trade.
Away from work she travels as often as she can, usually with a bowl of coffee in hand.

Matt | Operations Director
Matt co-founded Lima Kitchens and runs operations: orders and logistics, oversight of scheduling, and the technical side that turns an agreed design into something buildable without losing functionality or style. He also holds our supplier and trade relationships, which is why the same people turn up on our jobs year after year.
You will meet him at survey, and he will put his head round the door during installation. The rest of the time he is working in the background, though always at the end of the phone.
Calm, methodical and analytically minded. No problem is ever too much trouble, provided you give him time to work through the outcomes and keep him fuelled with coffee and snacks.
Family comes first. He plays badminton and judo, and outside all of that he helps obtain, organise and send aid to Ukraine
What the team says | Easy going, pragmatic and patient, right up until a new fad arrives. So far: a salt foot tray, an infrared glove, a unicycle and every supplement going.
Design Team
Every Lima kitchen is planned by a qualified designer. They will visit your home, understand how you cook and live, and design around that before a single door style is discussed. Once the design is agreed, they hand over to our technical and operations team, with a full brief rather than a drawing and a shrug
Andreya | Interior Designer
Andreya fell into kitchen design in 2019 and fell for it immediately. She has been at Lima since 2021 and holds a Diploma in Interior Design.
Her range runs from bold maximalism to calm, earthy japandi, and she is intuitive about which one a client actually wants, often before they have worked it out themselves.
Function comes first whichever direction a project takes, an approach that has won her multiple design awards and several further shortlistings.
She co-hosts The Home Improvement Podcast alongside Elizabeth, writes the process documentation the studio runs on, and trains new designers when they join. The standard she works to is one she teaches.
In 2025 she finished renovating her own home, a doer-upper that turned out to need doing rather sooner than planned. Beyond that there is a young family, and a life filled with food, friends, music, art and reading.

Katja | Interior Designer
Katja came to Lima in 2024 from a studio designing both British and German kitchens, with a First Class Honours degree in Interior Architecture and Design behind her. She arrived leaning towards the German aesthetic and has moved a long way since.
Some of her most striking work has been classic rather than contemporary, which is rather the point: she designs for the room and the house it sits in, not to a style she brought with her. There is a touch of individuality in every space.
The part she enjoys most is getting to know clients and helping them picture what a room could be. Her work has already taken her to finalist at national design awards.
She is currently taking on her first solo home renovation, which means she is seeing the home improvement world from the client’s side of the table. Beyond that she is a keen ice skater and an artist, on canvas or on her own nails.

Vicky | Showroom Manager and Designer
After fifteen years designing kitchens for German brands across Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and London, Vicky joined Lima in 2026 for a wider brief. She holds a degree in Interior Design.
Working for a bespoke studio rather than a single manufacturer means she is not bound to one product range or one room. She can design the whole space, carry ideas through into the rest of the house, and plan around a build rather than into a fixed set of cabinets. Her own leanings are clean lines, organised storage and low maintenance living.
She starts by understanding you: asking the questions other people avoid, then walking you throughsolutions to the problems you already know about and the ones you have not been able to put a name to.
At home she is in a relatively new build and running into the frustrations plenty of new build owners will recognise, which turns out to be useful experience to bring to work.
Family time matters, she trains at the gym regularly, and the rest goes to friends.
What the team says | Mellow but witty, permanently hydrated, and always up for true crime or horror.
Operations Team
Once your design is agreed, our technical designer turns it into a buildable plan, with every service, dimension and delivery date checked before anything is ordered.
Your project coordinator then runs it from there. One person to report to, and one person instructing the trades and managing any changes, so nothing gets passed between people and lost along the way.
Alex | Technical Designer
Alex has been with Lima since 2020 and sets the schedule for every project across the business. She produces the technical drawings, places the orders and holds the plan that everything else runs against.
She has a design degree and the kind of eye for detail that catches a problem well before anyone would have hit it on site. You will meet her at survey and again at your confirmation meeting, cross referencing and mtaking notes before she finalises your order and technical plans.
Because she holds both the technical detail and the schedule, she stays involved through installation as well, which is what took her to a national shortlist for Installation Manager of the Year twice.
She also co-built most of the systems the studio uses.
Away from work she is at the gym, out walking the countryside with Buddy, her dog, or running. She took running up recently and has already completed an ultra-marathon.

Imogen | Project Coordinator
Imogen joined Lima in 2026 and runs your installation against the technical plan: directing trades, sequencing deliveries and handling the changes that come up once work is under way. She is your point of contact through that stage.
She came with more than ten years across both British and German products and a degree in Interior Design. Alongside designing for clients in their own homes, she has designed and built showrooms and exhibitions for a national brand, handling the full logistics and technical specification. That background means she understands a kitchen from both ends: how it gets designed, and what it actually takes to get it installed.
Installations rarely run exactly to paper. Buildings turn out not to be square, a delivery slips, someone changes their mind. Reworking the sequence around that and telling you what has changed before you have to ask, is the part of the job she owns.
She is on her second property renovation, so the DIY does not stop when she leaves work. The rest goes to friends, time with her mum, or travelling, occasionally with a G&T in hand.

Installation and Delivery Team
Your kitchen is delivered by Tom, who checks it in and gets it to you in one piece, and fitted by trades we use again and again, each in their own specialism, all vetted, all people we know. Every trade on your job takes their instructions from your project coordinator.
Eelco | Multi Trade Specialist
Eelco spent years working for himself before joining Lima in 2025, wanting the security and balance that self-employment could not give a young family. We gained a tradesman who has run whole jobs start to finish.
He handles first fix carpentry, internal doors, skirting, stud walls and wall panelling, fits kitchens, and turns his hand to basic plumbing, tiling, decorating and snagging. He works alongside the other trade specialists or on his own.
Most projects throw up a handful of small jobs that fall between trades and hold everything else up. Those are the ones he picks up, which is often the difference between an afternoon and a week.
Eelco was a mechanic in the military before moving over from the Netherlands, where he met his wife. They have two daughters, who keep him busy in every spare moment.

a chat.
Tom | Warehouse and Project Assistant
Tom moved down from Norwich with his partner and joined Lima in 2025.
He runs our warehouse and stock, checks in every delivery, and gets your kitchen to you in one piece. He also takes out the old kitchen, works on site alongside the fitters, and handles snagging once the main work is done. He spent years working alongside his dad, a builder, which gave him a practical set of skills and a proper understanding of why completion dates matter.
Every item is checked against the order as it arrives with us, not on the day it arrives with you. A damaged door found in our warehouse is an inconvenience. The same door found in your hallway on fitting day is a fortnight. He is learning the installation side from the fitters as he goes, which is the reason he is on site as often as he is in the warehouse.
Outside work he follows football, having played for Ipswich Under 18s. He is also into cars and currently learning to play golf.
