Christine & Nick had lived in their home since built in the early 2000’s. Having bought their family up here it held many memories but now it is just the two of them, and they have retired, they felt it was time for a change.

Looking for inspiration they visited Lima Kitchens with a relatively open brief. Key areas included Christine having her own space and TV area. A space that was suitable for the grandchildren who are a big part of their lives. Better flow, not just of the kitchen but the downstairs as a whole and to be warm and inviting.

Finally, they wanted to accommodate their extensive wine collection.

With an open mind they allowed Elizabeth to reconfigure their entire downstairs space. Relocating the kitchen, utility and WC to provide a more logical flow, plus repurposing the dining area. The project took 3-4 months, with internal building work and reconfiguration, replacement of windows, radiators, all major services then final installation of the finishes with flooring, kitchen and lighting.

Whilst this was a major renovation their kitchen is now more connected, sensibly utilised and a space they simple love spending time together in.
