As a grandmother looking after her young grandchildren on a regular basis, this kitchen needed to work hard to create space with plenty of storage. This is a kitchen which is very typical of many Milton Keynes homes. The small kitchen footprint requires a clever use of space to make it work. This contemporary light grey, handleless kitchen with silica free engineered stone has made this space much brighter and less fussy. It creates a sense of additional space without going to the disruption or expense of an extension.
There are many features in the kitchen to help maintenance this clear, clutter free space in the form of integrated appliances and built in bins.
When this kitchen reaches the family area, there is a clean end with open shelves, providing a soft transition between the two functions of the space.
Our client for this project returned to Lima Kitchens after moving,15 years after her first Lima Kitchen. The quality and added function she had become accustomed to was missed when she relocated.
