Beginning your Lima Kitchens journey starts with your enquiry and our initial consultation. Our aim is to understand your requirements and obtain the details of your space, because how can we create your new space without a true understanding of you and your lifestyle. We can do this by a visit to your home to measure and assess your existing space, or from architectural plans that you supply. We will discuss how you are looking to use your new space, the atmosphere you are looking to create and find out the styles you like and dislike. At this point it is important to understand your lifestyle, the foods you cook and any specific requirements you, family members or regular visitors may have.  Once we have the information required we make an initial design appointment back in our showroom.

*Please note that insurance quotes carry a £150 fee which will be credited against future orders.

This appointment is to confirm that you are happy with the design and confirm your product choices, allowing us to finalise any costing. In some cases we may suggest that we carry out an additional appointment at our Kitchen Test Drive facility, where you will be able to see and stand in a true scale mock-up of your new kitchen. This is a great way to confirm sizing, workflows and to help anyone struggling with visualising their new room.

We will then book in your project and take your 25% deposit. Should you not be in a position to leave your deposit and require extra design appointments we will take a £480 design fee that will be refundable against your kitchen order.

On top of our expert kitchen installation, we have an extended team of exceptional trades to undertake more extensive work. Each of these trades are specialists in their field and have superb standards. Our project service encompasses an extra level of service, co-ordination and detail; this is one of the most popular services we offer. These specialists can provide the following services:

• Plastering for your new room, or refinishing walls and ceilings that may require attention after the removal of your kitchen.
• Building teams – to remove both structural and non structural internal walls.
• Part P electricians for rewiring, lighting and any consumer board upgrades.
• Heating engineers for stylish radiators and both plumbed and electrical underfloor heating.
• Decorating teams to undertake mist coats, finishing coats, feature walls and woodwork.
• Certified flooring specialists for Amtico and Karndean – great for a warm easy-to-maintain floor.
• Tiling specialist to install a variety of stone, porcelain and ceramic tiles.

All of our contractors adhere to building regulations and certification will be provide when applicable.
