The clients were undergoing a full-scale house renovation aiming to create a home that reflects their personality. With a love for colour and desire for maximalism, they came to us with the desire to find a layout that makes the most out of this bright kitchen diner and a design that mixes textures and patterns in a way that flows and feels organic and joyful.
Finding the right layout was challenging as we didn’t want to overwhelm the space and some utilities were already in place. After careful consideration we arrived at a stunning Turmeric Yellow island with Burbidge Fenton doors clad in the bright and warm Giulietta Quartz. The sink and prep area allowed for a social design perfect for hosting. The dark oak worktops specifically requested by the clients, contrasted beautifully with the neutral bone of the surrounding cabinetry in the backdrop of their Moroccan style tile splashback. Finished off with high spec Siemens appliances, and multi-layer lighting, this kitchen-diner doubles up as the perfect space for hosting large birthday parties as well as cosy family dinners.
