Angela & Paul were undertaking building work to add to their living space and improve their way of life. Incorporated into this was a new kitchen. The existing kitchen, which they had lived with for many years was small, dark and disorganised. They had planned for a larger ‘U’ shape kitchen with family area at the other end. That was until they spoke with Lima.
During our initial consultation we discussed their existing frustrations, what they hoped to achieve and the way their family used the home in general. This provided us with a basis to work from. Like many, they had already received designs from other companies and thought they knew the possibilities and restrictions already. However, with a blank canvas and considered approach we were able to transform their space into a true statement kitchen, without sacrificing practicalities.
With the only work space in this kitchen being on this over sized island, we included our popular small appliance units. Hiding all of those gadgets away yet remaining available and ready for use.
Needless to say this is the family’s favourite room!
