Having a large family and loving to cook fresh meals everyday has made this transformation extra special for our Julie and Matt.
Getting by with their inherited kitchen for 7 years was more than enough and the time had come to improve all elements from storage, usable work space, sociability and style.
Andreya approached this space with an open mind and completely fresh approach to improve all areas of this room. She optimised this kitchen diner by ‘zoning’ to create a home and workspace for everything simultaneously. There is ample of space for a large family table, prep island and the kids running around. We maximised the storage in ever part of the kitchen. From removing the ‘dumping ground’ and installing reduced depth units, creating a home for these items but helping the family stay clutter free. Designing an Aga mantle surround with accessible storage, keeping everything to hand plus our favourite, a space tower.
