Why is it important to have a good Project Co-Ordinator?
The most important part of the job is to make sure the project can run the smoothest it possibly can and ensuring there is always on going communication with clients that keeps them in the loop. A project coordinator is imperative to keep things organised and quickly resolve any hiccups that occur in the live projects.
What makes you an effective Project Co-Ordinator?
Clear communication is key with clients, trades, suppliers and team members and I always endeavour to have a clear line of communication. Ensuring I’m organised and up to date on all of the jobs to anticipate the upcoming week.
Which part of the job satisfies you the most?
The most satisfying part of my job is definitely working with the clients. Its great to see a kitchen come together and the space being transformed into something they love.
What are your pet peeves when it comes to Project-Co-Ordinating?
Not being up to date with new or changed plans within the live project.
How do you see the perception of Project Co-Ordination changing in 2023?
Having a much more prominent presence with in the projects.
