Space tower

This has been one of our favourites for 15 years! With great access and visibility into each drawer there really is no better larder unit. Each drawer is rated up to 40kg, making it multipurpose – plus they are soft closing as standard. On top of this we can offer these in a multitude of sizes, starting at 300mm to 1200mm wide! Our clients love them just as much as we do and we aim to include in every kitchen where possible.

This is a great way to maximise storage and access on a peninsular. Quite often we may use this space to accommodate a washing machine, which also frees up floor space in the kitchen area, allowing multiple tasks to take place at once without being under each other’s feet. Other popular usages include wine coolers accessed next to the seating areas and storage for placemats and the obligatory junk drawers!

Appliance stations

These have become increasingly popular over the past few years. With a shift to minimal living and low maintenance cleared sides, this is a must have. Our appliance stations are a great way to tidy away toasters, mixers or even juicers whilst having easy access and a designated space to use them. Depending on your space and budget, these can be basic units with power sockets or more elaborate units with pocket doors, internal drawers, quartz surfaces, glass splashbacks and much more.

Bear with me on this one. Technically not storage per se but directly impacts storage requirements.

Researching and investing in the right appliances could reduce the storage needed. For example, opting for a single oven with steam and separate combination microwave will save storage space. You will benefit from two larger ovens against a standard double oven. Plus, two grills, a microwave and a steamer. Although this technology may seem strange at the start, these nifty appliances will remove the need for stacked steamers, rice cookers, additional microwave and provide hard wearing oven trays – removing the need for multiple trays. An added little bonus is the extra workspace!

With space at a premium, it is not always possible nor particularly convenient to sacrifice space for a laundry or utility room. That is why our concealed laundry and utility units are so popular. Clearing away the clutter, shutting away the laundry and in some cases, even providing a discreet place for a boiler or drying laundry. A big bug bear for many households.

We would love to hear which of these top 5 storage solutions would be on your wish list. Also, if you have a particular issue that needs to be overcome to make your new kitchen your favourite room in the house then get in touch!
